PROFILE OF OUR CEO

Our Managing Director, Mr. Ranjit Dass is an established name in the field of Foreign Exchange with an industry experience that expands globally over 31 years and across international financial hubs i.e. London, Sydney, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Singapore and Frankfurt. Mr. Dass joined, a brokerage company, in the year 1973 wherein he established Delhi as a Foreign Exchange centre and headed their offices in Calcutta, Cochin and Delhi. He worked with the organization for 7 years after which he was invited by the Central Bank of Ceylon in the challenging task of setting up and developing the foreign exchange market in Sri Lanka. He was in Sri Lanka for three years, during which he worked with DSP Merrill Lynch/Maharaja Group. After successfully launching foreign exchange operations single handedly in Sri Lanka, in 1983 Mr. Dass started working with the biggest international broking company, Harlow Butler, Singapore and R.P. Martin Bierbaum, London. In 1986, he moved to Australia and joined Prebon Yamane, the largest foreign exchange broking company in the foreign exchange markets, heading the Spot, Swap, Deposit desk, Forward Rate Agreement and Interest Rate Swap desks. In 1993, he returned to India and was the first new company by RBI to operate in the Indian FX markets on over 40 years. Subsequently, he set up his own foreign exchange broking company, M/S Ranjit Dass (licensed by RBI and FEDAI). Presently empanelled with major banks, nationalized, foreign and private, M/S Ranjit Dass has been one of the most active and professional foreign exchange broking companies in the country with direct hot lines to all trading banks. As a result, under his leadership, the company has acquired a large number of prestigious clients.
